How to deal with conflicts in teams?

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

It can arise from different opinions, goals or objectives, and personalities.

The key to managing conflict is clearly understanding what is and is not acceptable behaviour.

For a team to be effective, the members must have a shared understanding of the team culture – the norms, values and behaviours acceptable in the group. This includes conflict governance and resolution.

There are many ways to deal with conflict, but some methods are more productive than others.

It’s best to avoid personal attacks and insults and focus on solving the problem. Raising your voice or using sarcasm will only escalate the conflict.

It’s also important to remember that everyone in the team has a role to play in resolving conflicts.
